About the Event
This day will be a special day for the SJIOBA, as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary. And it is made especially significant that we have Br Paul Rogers FSC joining us.
For those of us here who do not know, it was Br Paul Rogers that got the SJIOBA started.
Our theme for tonight is "Recollect, Reconnect, Reignite".
So, for the rest of this evening, the EXCo would like to invite all of us to "Recollect" - think back on our school days, and remember the camaraderie and friendship we shared as young boys and girls growing up together. Know that the camaraderie need not be lost just because we have left the school.
Occasions like tonight is always a good start to get together and reminisce the good old days. But let us not stop here.
Hence, I would like us to "Reconnect". For those of us who have come back specially for this event, we thank you but we would like to add that this is a great chance to exchange contacts with one another, and keep in touch. For those who are not that familiar with the SJIOBA, we can be a platform for you to reconnect with old friends, through the activities that we organise throughout the year. The SJIOBA would especially like to reach out to all Josephians, and encourage your participation in our activities. Details of our events can be found on our website and social media. We really look forward to seeing more new faces.
Hopefully, though the SJIOBA's activities, such as tonight's dinner, we can "Reignite" the Josephian spirit and camaraderie in all of us.
