As we emerged from the shadows of the pandemic and transit into this period of uncertainty, some of us may find ourselves struggling to keep up or catch up mentally or feeling anxious emotionally at times. Our mental well-being is an oft neglected area as we get caught up in life.
Join the OBA for an evening talk and catch up with fellow Joes over light refreshments as Teck Hwee shares a bit of his Josephian journey and his take on burnout and the need for self-care. These include recognizing the signs of burnout and how to prevent it.
Teck Hwee graduated from the Class of 95 and was active in the St Johns Ambulance Brigade. He followed up his interest in uniform groups by accepting the SAF scholarship to read Medicine in NUS and subsequently served for 18 years as medical officer.
He is a psychiatrist by training and now works in SGH.
This event is open to all Life and Junior Members and their family.
